In the era of social distance, the concept of collaboration takes on new meaning. We shine a spotlight on some of the season’s most promising partnerships.

BECKI OWENS X HUDSON VALLEY LIGHTING

Becki Owens teamed up with Hudson Valley Lighting to create a collection of pendants and sconces inspired by the California beach town where she lives and works. The designer’s bohemian style is prominent in the Georgia series, which features boxy shades made of woven rattan cane lattice, while the linen and blackened metal in the Landon series imbue a more modern sensibility.

JIM AND PHOEBE HOWARD X SHERRILL FURNITURE

Husband-and-wife team Jim and Phoebe Howard are adding to their furniture line, Mr. & Mrs. Howard for Sherrill Furniture, with a new collection of casegoods and upholstery. An eclectic mix of traditional and international looks, the products—including a mirror with an oak frame masquerading as bamboo, and a vintage-inspired buffet made of wenge and maple with vellum-covered doors—showcase the couple’s signature style.

KARA MANN X MCGUIRE

For her first collection with McGuire, Kara Mann took inspiration from the brand’s West Coast home base, designing 24 pieces that embody a laid-back California style, with shapes and textures that take cues from the 1970s. The Lashed lounge chair, with a low-profile, sink-into-me shape, is wrapped in leather cord and available in classic bouclé, while the chunky Pillar end table is made of crème travertine.

JUSTINA BLAKENEY X LOLOI

Queen of boho Justina Blakeney is debuting three new rug collections with Loloi. Jamila, with its bold colors and oversized tassels, is playful yet modern; the more subdued Leela features abstract patterns inspired by freehand art; and a pair of big cats featured in Tigress bring the jungle home for a statement piece in teal or tangerine.
