With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic forcing many people to work from home, here are 10 products from Dezeen Showroom to improve your home-office setup.

Covid-19 has forced companies around the world to embrace remote working, with many predicting that working from home will be here to stay long after the virus has been brought under control. Only a couple of years ago architects and designers were trying to make offices more homely but now the challenge is how to carve out an office space in the home. Here we round up a selection of chairs, desks, storage solutions and room dividers that have featured on Dezeen Showroom that can be used to create a practical and attractive workspace at home.

1. Noa sit-stand desk by Benchmark

British furniture maker Benchmark has designed Noa, a height-adjustable desk that allows users to shift between sitting and standing while working. The desk has been designed to aid productivity and encourage good posture and movement throughout the day.

2. Monforte room divider by Raffaella Mangiarotti for IOC Project Partners

Monforte is a freestanding room divider designed by Italian architect Raffaella Mangiarotti for office furniture company IOC Project Partners. The wall can be reconfigured into different shapes to help create privacy and doubles as an acoustic panel, reducing ambient noise to create an undisturbed working environment.

3. KIT desk by Spacestor

KIT desk is a compact and portable desk designed by workspace furniture brand Spacestor. The flexible design means the desk can be folded up and is easily transported between rooms, enabling users to change their work setting throughout the day.

4. Tip Ton RE chair by Barber Osgerby for Vitra

Made from recycled polypropylene recovered from household waste by Swiss furniture brand Vitra, the Tip Ton RE can be tilted forwards to encourage a healthier sitting posture. Originally designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby in 2011, the new edition features speckles of recycled material visible on the surface as no dyes have been added.

5. Linear System Series by Thomas Bentzen for Muuto

Danish designer Thomas Bentzen has created Linear System Series for Muuto, a collection of pendant lights, tables, screens and moveable trays. The collection can be tailored by users to create customised workspaces at home. The range includes a series of lighting that can be personalised to emulate the feeling of a classic library.

6. Kabinett dresser by Alexander Lervik for Adea

Kabinett is a cabinet that also functions as a desk for the home office by Stockholm designer Alexander Lervik, who envisioned the work table for Finnish furniture manufacturer Adea. The cabinet can be unfolded into a desk with an adjustable tabletop, enabling users to raise or lower the height to suit their preferences.

7. Lino office chair by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin for Herman Miller

Lino office chair has been developed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin as an affordable, ergonomic work chair for office furniture brand Herman Miller. The chair features a breathable fabric used for the backrest, which is contoured to provide optimal spinal support for each user.

8. Giroflex 313 by Paolo Fancelli for Flokk

Giroflex 313 is a desk chair designed by industrial designer Paolo Fancelli for office-furniture brand Flokk. The adaptable chair offers automatic self-adjustment to help align the seat and back for each user's body weight, allowing users to reach maximum comfort.

9. Tempo adjustable table by Tenho Design

Tempo is a multifunctional table made from birch wood that can be used for dining or working designed by Scandinavian brand Tenho Design. The table features an electrically adjustable pillar that can be adapted to suit users' preferred height using a controller or mobile app that saves each users' preferences.

10. Buddy Hub by Busetti Garuti Redaelli for Pedrali

Buddy Hub is an enclosed seating system created by Milanese designers Busetti Garuti Redaelli for Italian brand Pedrali. Each seat is composed of rounded upholstery supported by black aluminium legs. The seats are encased with a sound-absorbing panel to create privacy and enhance concentration for users.
